Here's everything you need to know about The Sunken Temple pre-quests.

As we approach level 50, we need to spend more time looking at this & trying to chug through each of the quests.

You can look up the end-quest rewards on Wowhead.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Here's a list of what to do, in efficient order. You can all go ahead & start this at your earliest convenience. We'll be running Maraudon for one more week to get to level 50, then we'll start The Sunken Temple. There is a class-specific set of quests you obtain once you hit level 50. You can look them up on Wowhead.

Please let me know if you find any problems with this quest guide or if you need assistance with any of the quests, including your class-specific quests once we hit 50.

I guess this will give me something else to do besides making lots of money in mining runs. Smile

Upon further review, you may want to swap steps 7 & 8.

If you have the quest, you may want to do Saving Sharpbeak while you're retrieving the Ancient Egg.

Kill Vile Priestess Hexx (outside the cave containing the egg). Loot her key, then get the egg. After you run out of the cave, head North to a Cave along the west cliffs. You'll find sharpbeak thru the cave & in the opening.

Doug, Heather, & I are on step 12, about to head to step 13. We're all preserving our Nijel's Point Hearthstones, so you guys can set your hearths strategically to help you get thru these quests. I'd suggest Ironforge.

I'm done with all the steps and 50.37 level, will be doing my class quest in Azshara to get that for ST.

EDIT: After getting class quest ready, 50.68.

Jester, Heather, & I are all done with this set of quests to prepare for ST. Looks like we might just move on to ST next time if everyone is 50.

Heather is still just 49.50, so I'll be working with her on my 53 shaman. Once she hits 50, I'll help her to get thru her class quest in Azshara.

I got to step 18 with Paco's help today. Should be able to get it finished on Wednesday. Still only at 49.02, but that should go up once I finish the last few steps.

If I'm around and you need help just holler. Also, would you guys want to do this WoW Thursday at my place? I think being in person for our first ST run or two would be a good thing but Paco mentioned he wouldn't want to stay real late if he drove to Columbia City. If so let me know and I'll get it all cleared here.

Headhunter, did you do the Crystals of Power quest? You can do that chain relatively quick for about 25k xp + any XP you get for killing in the process.

If we game at Headhunter's place, I can get home at 3:30pm, take a nap until 5pm, then head out to Headhunter's around 5:15pm when Heather gets home. We'd be there sometime around 6:15pm most likely & would have to leave shortly after 10pm.

If we do it at Reaper's, I'll probably still take a nap, but we'd be there around 5:30pm & wouldn't need to leave until closer to 11pm.

I'm game either way.

Sounds like my place it is, 6:30, probably not much earlier. Internet still looks to be stable. Latency lately has been under 100.

Got all the pre-quest stuff done tonight, along with my 50 Pally prep. Currently at 50.39, +50% rest XP.
